Originally established in 1988 by the St. Anthony's Church Choir, an annual fundraiser was held to support and raise awareness for the Canadian Cancer Society.

Since 1999, the Ottawa St. Anthony Italia Soccer Club Inc. along with members of the Italian-Canadian community launched the annual Daffodil Dinner Dance. This event, which supports the Canadian Cancer Society, Ottawa Unit, helps fund the expensive costs associated with basic laboratory research to clinical trials to studies in cancer prevention, population health and quality of life. As a third party fundraiser, celebrating the opening of the annual residential Daffodil Campaign, we have raised over $343,000.00 for research. The Ottawa St. Anthony Italia Soccer Club / Daffodil Dinner Dance Committee extends to you all an invitation to join us at our next event, the 23rd Annual Daffodil Dinner Dance and Silent Auction to be held on Saturday April 9th, 2011 at the St. Anthony Banquet Hall & Conference Centre, 523 St. Anthony Street. This special night, starting at 5:00 p.m., features a five course gourmet dinner, live music, a silent auction and many surprises.
