Gala

This year we are planning something different.  As always, we are raising funds in support of the Canadian Cancer Society’s Research Program.  We’ll also be raising funds in support of this year’s cause. There will be more information to follow soon.

The Daffodil Gala’s goal is to collect $25,000 this year!

So, what’s on for this year? One of Ottawa’s longest running cancer research fund raising events will be held at St. Anthony’s Italia Banquet Hall. We can guarantee a lively and fun night with a new Emcee (announcement soon) holding the microphone. There will be many hotly contested Silent Auctions for a wide variety of gifts, raffles for some great electronics and our Guaranteed Raffle is always sold out, so you will need to be quick on your feet that night.

Joe Ierullo and his great staff at St. Anthony’s will be starting the evening with a variety cocktails and hors d’oeuvres leading into a traditional and always delicious five course Italian dinner at our licensed event. There is complimentary wine at each table and a cash bar that will be open throughout the evening. You just need to show up with an appetite and determination to win some of those great silent auction prizes. We also have Giovanni as our official photographer so you can expect great pictures. Remember to smile!

The evening’s entertainment starts off music by Shawn Marino, Ottawa’s own “Lounge Singer/Crooner” and we end the evening with the announcement of our grand total for the year and then you can look forward to a great night of dancing and music provided by Ottawa’s own Sway Band
